Safeguarding Information

'Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility'

At GFTS Skills Academy we are committed to safeguarding and we expect all Governors, staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. We make every effort to provide an environment in which children and adults feel safe, secure, valued and respected, and feel confident to talk if they are worried, believing they will be effectively listened to.

Our Safeguarding Policy is written in line with the template sent to provisions by CAPH (Cornwall Association of Primary Heads) and reflects Keeping Children Safe in Education: Statutory guidance for provisions and colleges. September 2023. Safeguarding policies can be found on the clients page.
